Artists of Norwalk House Tour
October 19, 2025 | 12:30 p.m
Step aboard for a one-time-only guided bus tour that will take you inside the artists’ homes who helped shape Norwalk’s rich creative heritage! This tour will visit historic neighborhoods that once nurtured thriving artistic communities.
Discover the spaces where art was made, lives were lived, and stories began—from Alexander Rummler, the WPA muralist whose scenes of Norwalk life (including the oyster trade) still grace local walls, to John Vassos, the visionary industrial designer and illustrator who helped define the look of modern radios and televisions for RCA, to Ian Falconer, the beloved New Yorker cover artist and creator of Olivia who made his home in Rowayton.
Space is limited—don’t miss this chance to step inside the homes where Norwalk’s art and stories began.
